Fox 2.0 IFP steering stabilizer for all Dodge Ram trucks with a solid front axle (1994-2001 1500 series, 1994-2017 2500/3500 series) that are running a DOR steering linkage. This shock will bolt up in the stock low-mount bracket (under the track bar axle bracket) and then bolt to the DOR linkage using one of our stabilizer clamps. The IFP design works to reduce side to side vibrations by applying slight pressure to the steering. This stabilizer can also help reduce right-pull from larger, aggressive tires. The aluminum body will not rust like most stabilizer shocks, so it's perfect for those in colder or humid climates.
If you have an early 2nd gen with the factory high-mount stabilizer (bracket is on the passenger side frame and the stabilizer mounts to the drag link), this setup will not work in that position. This stabilizer must be used in a low-mount application. We do sell a weld-on low mount bracket, see related items below.
This stabilizer can work in some stock applications but it does not include a tapered bolt or sleeve to bolt to the factory linkage. You may need to use a clamp or come up with some other method to attach this stabilizer to a factory linkage. This is up to you - we don't offer stock steering linkages and we don't troubleshoot them.
If you order the stabilizer by itself, it will most likely drop ship from a distributor in California. If you order one with a clamp, we typically ship the stabilizer and clamp together from our shop in Arkansas. If you have a time-critical deadline and need one or both parts quickly, call us before placing your order. Sometimes the stabilizers are backordered and take a week or more to ship out.
