Description
Questions and Answers
DOR's coilover bracket system to make coilovers a bolt-in application. Works on all solid-axle 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen trucks from 1994 to 2012. Also fits the 2013 Ram 2500 trucks. These towers fit all coilovers with a COM10 bearing, 1.5" width and 1/2" bolt. This is a standard size with Fox, King, SAW, Radflo, and other standard mount coilovers. The lower mounts only work on 1.25" wide bearings, so you may need new misalignment spacers for your coilovers to make those work. The lower mounts bolt in to the stock shock mount using the factory shock bolt, and then a 1/2" bolt holds the coilover in place in the bracket.
You will need to spot weld the lower mounts to the factory coil bucket. The upper tower bolts in using the provided stud ring, no drilling required. Your upper coil seat will remain below the factory upper coil bucket, however the taller towers will give you 2" more shock travel than you would normally have. The mounts are powdercoated semi gloss black.
The towers, rings, and lower mounts are all made from 3/16" HRPO steel and include all hardware required to bolt up to your truck.
We can customize the tower height and mounting width if needed, however there will be an extra charge for this service. Please call or email us for more info. As the towers are made now, it's 7" from the bottom of the tower to the center of the bolt hole.
We do not sell the lower mounts by themselves, this is a complete set.
Q:
What length coil overs would be recommended for a 3” lift? Or stock height?
Asked by:
Travis

A:
Most people do 12" travel for a 3" lift. Stock height would be 8" or 10" travel, whichever one lines up with your build better.

These towers are a couple inches taller than the factory towers. Our towers measure 7" from the base of the tower to the center of the bolt hole.
